俄羅斯入侵烏克蘭，嚴重影響全球植物油供應。馬來西亞種植及原產業部趁著這個黃金機會，尤其是在歐盟國家推廣馬來西亞棕油，為商品重新獲得市場份額鋪路。而在這個全球市場的臨時空白期間，馬來西亞長期建立的優質棕油品牌形象起到了非常大的作用，吸引了諸多歐洲買家視大馬棕油為全球市場的首選。因此，棕油業在2022年將繼續為馬來西亞經濟增長做出巨大貢獻。

品牌的體現，不僅僅是企業需要的，國家需要、政府需要、文化也需要。我們的棕油行業之所以能在全球市場急需時，優先獲得認可，便是國家與各路企業長期經營下來的品牌資產，看不見卻在關鍵時刻擁有巨大的重要性。我本身所在的國家電影發展局，也將品牌形象視為重點工作。因為我們的部門，關系了馬來西亞的品牌形象在全球的認知。不讓外國人以為我們還住在樹上，而是讓人看到我們國家的優勢，是我們積極推動的，也是馬來西亞能夠彎道超車的機會。

所以，品牌的意義非凡。希望今天所有獲獎者，能持續積極地拓展品牌影響力，成為優秀品牌，提升馬來西亞品牌形象，共同為馬來西亞經濟發展出一分力。讓馬來西亞制造成為更好的驕傲。

馬來西亞柔佛州地不佬國會議員鐘少云表示，在這個時代，不管是企業，國家，或個人發展，都應該重視品牌投資和品牌發展，特別在這產品高度同化，競爭非常激烈的市場。而事實上，世界上許多知名企業往往都是把品牌發展看成企業開拓國際市場的優先戰略。可口可樂，蘋果，星巴克，麥當勞等等，無一不是先抓品牌戰略開始，建立強勁的品牌資產，使品牌持續成為市場的領導者。

他深深覺得國際至尊品牌大獎就是一個樹立品牌形象，以及增添品牌資產的最佳平臺。尤其該獎項經歷10年的發展，各國知名品牌運用的影響下，讓新成立或久經沙場已久的新獲獎品牌品牌，均擁有一個提升品牌形象的舞臺，在市場上取得更大的突破，獲得更大的市場份額。他也希望透過自身的出席，影響更多馬來西亞柔佛州的企業重視品牌的重要性。
